Son Marroig, el lugar de Natalie y Jim/ SON MARROIG, THE PLACE OF NATALIE AND JIM

Mallorca is an island known by Jim and Natalie. They have friends here, and every year, they took a few days off the US bustle to relax in our little paradise.

When they decided to marry they knew that this would be the meeting point for family and friends. It was the ideal place to indulge themselves! Whenever they come, they stay in the wonderful hotel La Residencia, located in the heart of Serra de Tramuntana, in the village of Deià. A unique enclave, near to the beautiful estate of Son Marroig, also in Deià.

The day started cloudy, and although some rays of sun appeared, we were surprised by a big storm. Natalie was getting ready with some friends and family in the room, and while our decorating team was working hard on the set up, the first trickles of water fell. Luckily, it cleared up, and we did not have to resort to B Plan (we always must have a B plan!);)

Along with the designer Sarah Liller, Natalie devised the dress. She worked throughout the process with her, choosing the cut, the colors, the silk … till the smallest details to get the dress of her dreams! The result was a beautiful ivory chiffon silk skirt with a delicate lace bodice. The back …was spectacular! All this, with precious Valentino shoes.
The Makeup artist Susie Kenneth helped to make her more beautiful than ever.

The ceremony took place in the spectacular Son Marroig minaret. Even if we have got used to it as a location of many weddings, it is still an exceptional place on the island for us.

Ah! Y para pedirle matrimonio otra vez! 😉

While the bride and groom were waiting for the guests, Francisco Fonteyne was capturing beautiful images like these. Jim took the time to give the bride her bouquet, a beautiful one of roses and dalias. Ah! And to ask her to marry again!;)

It was a very intimate and emotional wedding. While friends were wishing them the best, a Spanish guitar was playing in the hands of Mariano Miranda.

Then, an imperial table, decorated with a large garland of roses and golden accents, awaited them for a fantastic wedding dinner prepared by Marc Fosh’s catering. The chairs, golden as well, gave a special touch to the night.

A jazz trio brightened the night with their songs

During the rather cold night,, they reached the area of the nightclub, where a saxophonist was waiting for the warm up. Afterwords, the guys from Deejays Grup made all the guests sweat a lot!
