La celebración de Harriet&Alex fue una boda con la que cualquier pareja joven sueña. Llena de buen rollo, gente joven, buena música, un sitio muy exclusivo y una decoración… que os va a encantar.

The celebration of Harrriet & Alex was a wedding that any Young couple could dream of. Full of good vibes, Young people, good music, an exclusive setting and decoration…that you will find enchanting.

 

Las responsables de la organización fueron nuestras compañeras Petra y Lourdes, nuestra jefa. Pero el día de la boda solo pudo ir Lourdes porque Petra estaba embarazadísima. A Petra le dio mucha pena porque había entablado una relación muy especial con ellos.

Petra: “Desde el primer momento fue una pareja encantadora que nos iba mandando fotos de todos sus viajes. Montados en velero en China, Nueva Zelanda, esquiando en los Alpes o disfrazados en un festival. Es una pareja muy especial y alegre”.

Tal fue la confianza de estos novios en Moments que dejaron toda la organización del evento en nuestras manos y no llegaron a Mallorca hasta pocos días antes de la celebración.

Y aunque esta pareja es australiana, se conocieron en Deyá, si, si, en Deyá a los pies de nuestra querida sierra de Tramontana. ¿Cómo puede ser que dos australianos se conozcan en Mallorca? Pues es que ambos veraneaban aquí cuando surgió su historia de amor. ¡Que pareja tan feliz!

Our colleague Petra and our boss Lourdes were responsable for the organization However on the day of the wedding only Lourdes could go because Petra was extremely pregnant! Petra was so disappointed as she had formed a very special relation with the couple.

Petra: “ From the first momento they were such a lovely couple and they showed us photos of all their travels, sailing in China and New Zealand, sking in the Alps and dressed up at a festival. They are a special and very happy couple.”

Such was the confidence of this couple with Moments that they left all of the organization of their celebration with us and did not arrive in Mallorca until a few days before the wedding..

Although this couple was australian, they met in Deya, yes, yes, in Deya at the foot of our beloved sierra de Tramontana. How could two australians meet in Mallorca? Well, it seems each was summering here when their love story began. What a happy couple!

Y además de lo bien que se lo pasaron la boda fue preciosa. Gracias al buen gusto que tuvieron en la elección del vestido (nada convencional) y el estilismo del novio. Harriet eligió un vestido de loverthelabel.com con unas sandalias azules. Por ello Arantxa, nuestra florista, diseñó un ramo campestre con romero y ramitas de olivo acordes con el sitio, ya que es la vegetación de la zona. Tanto el ramo como la corona de flores liofilizadas incluían flores azules a juego con los zapatos y flores silvestres con variedad de colores que reflejaban el carácter alegre de la novia

Alex, en vez de la convencional corbata eligió una pajarita del mismo azul que los zapatos de Harriet y los calcetines de topos a juego. Además nos sorprendió con unos tirantes marrones a juego con los zapatos, que descubrimos cuando se quitó la americana. Perfecta combinación chicos.

Besides having a great time, the wedding was beautiful. Thanks to the good taste in the selection of the bride’s dress (not at all conventional) and the stylishness of the groom. Harriet chose a dress from loverthelabel.com and combined this with blue sandals. Arantxa, our florist, designed a bouquet for the bride of wild Rosemary and olive branches as these are the vegetation of the área and in accord with the setting. Both the bouquet and the Crown of flowers which was woven with blue flowers to combine with the shoes and wild flowers in a variety of colors reflected the happy charácter of the bride.

Instead of the usual tie, Alex chose a bow tie and matching socks with polkadots the same color as Harriet’s shoes. He also surprised us with his brown suspenders and matching shoes which we discovered when he removed his jacket. Perfect combinations.

Las composiciones de los ramos de la novia y damas de honor fueron frescas y espontáneas como eran ellas tres. ¡Estaban guapísimas!

The composition of the bouquets of the bride and her maids of honor were fresh and spontaneous as were the three of them. They were beautiful!

En este caso la madrina no fue la madre del novio sino de la novia. Acompañó en todo momento a la pareja, desde el altar hasta las tantas que duró el baile. Para la ocasión llevaba un traje azul en sintonía con los pequeños detalles del estilismo de los novios. Un encanto de mujer que estuvo pendiente en todo momento de que todo saliera bien.

The maid of honor at this wedding was not the mother of the bride but the mother of the groom. She accompanied them at all times from the altar until the wee hours that the dancing continued. For the occasion she wore a blue suit in harmony with the stylish details of the couple. A delightful women who was aware at every momento that everything went well.

La maquilladora fue una amiga de la novia que vino desde Australia. El maquillaje que eligieron fue fresco y natural, resaltando los preciosos ojos azules de Harriet y su sonrisa contagiosa.

The make-up artist was a friend of the bride that came from Australia. The make-up she selected was fresh and natural , highlighting Harriet’s lovely blue eyes and her captivating smile.

Y como no podía ser de otra manera, decidieron darse el “Si Quiero” en Deyá, en la iglesia de Joan Bautista acompañados por 75 amigos y familiares.

And as it could not be otherwise, they decided to say “I Do” in Deya, in the John the Baptist church accompanied by 75 friends and family.

Como las familias son anglicanas el rito no podía ser de otra manera. Para ello tuvimos que buscar un cura anglicano. Casualmente un ceremoniante inglés hace años que vive en la isla y realiza celebraciones de este tipo. Un señor muy agradable que también quiso ser inmortalizado este día. En la foto podemos ver la ceremonia y el simpático cura.

As the families are Anglican they had to find an anglican priest to perform the ceremony. Coincidentally they found an English ceremoniante who had been living on the island for years and makes such celebrations. A very nice gentleman who also wanted to be immortalized this day. In the picture we see the ceremony and the sympathetic priest.

Después de la ceremonia preparamos un cocktail fresquito para la calurosa tarde de Septiembre. La finca de Son Marroig era el sitio prefecto para esta celebración ya que los novios querían la sesión de fotos con vistas al mediterráneo. Decoramos el lugar con un chill out de rafia, cojines blancos, lilas y violetas.

After the ceremony we prepared a fresh cocktail for the hot September afternoon. The finca of Son Marroig was the perfect place for the celebration as the couple wanted their photo sesión with views of the mediterranean. We decorated the place with chill out of rafia, and white, lilac and violet cushions.

Escogieron la finca de Son Marroig porque esta localización dispone de una terraza con vistas al mar para realizar banquetes. Fue allí donde Cristina y Magali nuestras chicas de decoración montaron la cena. Detalles florales en las servilletas, flores silvestres en el centro y velas de botes de mermelada ¡estaba todo precioso!

They chose the finca of Son Marroig because that local has a terrace for banquets that overlooks the sea. It was there that Cristina y Magali our decoration girls set up the dinner. Flower details on the napkins, wild flowers in the center of the tables, and candles in marmelade jars . It was all beautiful.

En cada mesa se colocaron cámaras polaroid para que los invitados de hicieran fotos y dejaran una bonita dedicatoria a la pareja.

Every table had a polaroid camera on it so that the guests could take potos and leave a lovely dedication to the couple.

La banda que amenizó la velada fue “Pamboli Band” que esta formada por los hijos del escritor británico Robert Graves que vivió 56 años en Deyá.

Después de la cena los novios abrieron el baile con uno de los bailes más conocidos del mundo del cine. Pinchar en el link ¿Os suena?

Tanta relación guarda la pareja con Deyá que después de la cena invitaron a unos cuantos amigos del pueblo a disfrutar de Dj Toni.

Dj Toni: “Petra, ayer disfruté como nunca pinchando, vaya gente con cultura musical y con buen rollo… fue genial. Gracias”

Los invitados participaron en el photo call poniéndose atrezzo y sacándose unas fotos de recuerdo.

The couples relationship with Deya extended to inviting a number of friends from the village to join the disco and enjoy the Dj Toni.

Dj Toni: “ Petra, Yesterday I had the best time ever as a Dj, wow, what great people with musical culture and energy..it was amazing! Thank you.”

The guests participated in the photo call setting up props and taking souvenir photos.

Unos días después de la fiesta se fueron de viaje de novios a Roma, Florencia, Venecia y Sri Lanka. Nos mandaron un email contándonos su aventurera luna de miel y lo bien que se lo estaban pasando.

Esperamos que sigáis así de felices. Os mandamos un montón de besos pareja.

A few days after the fiesta, the couple went on their honeymoon to Rome, Florence, Venice and Sri Lanka. They sent us an email telling us about their honeymoon adventures and the fun they were having. We hope you will always be that happy. We send you both a mountain of kisses. You are adorable!
