¡Qué gran verdad! Fue este verano cuando el monarca español pronunciaba esa frase que a todos los mallorquines nos llenó de orgullo y es que, aunque todos sepamos lo bonita que es nuestra isla y todas las islas que conforman el archipiélago Balear, oírlo en boca de otros te “llena de orgullo y satisfacción”. Muchos dirán que los mallorquines somos muy “roquers” pero ¿cómo no vamos a serlo si vivimos en el paraíso?
What a great truth. It was this summer when the Spanish King pronounced this phrase that filled all mallorquins with pride . Although we all know the beauty of our island and all of the islands that form the archipelago Balear, to hear it said by others “fills you with pride and satisfaction”. Many say we mallorquins are “rockers” but how can we be otherwise if we live in Paradise?
Es carbó-Mallorca. Arena blanca, agua color turquesa, ¡el paraíso!
Si pensamos en lugares bonitos de la isla, posiblemente la lista sea eterna y es que Mallorca da para mucho. Pero hoy queremos compartir un sitio que nos encanta. Un sitio en el que tanto en invierno como en verano disfrutas de Mallorca. Para ello, nos adentramos en la Serra de Tramuntana, pasado Valldemossa, cerca de Deià, más concretamente, en la Foradada (para muchos un emblema de Mallorca). Tal vez, hayáis pasado muchas veces pero seguro que nunca os habéis parado a disfrutar de la puesta de sol en el chiringuito que está junto a la conocida finca «Son Marroig». Seguramente, nunca nos paramos porque «ahí sólo van guiris», no sé vosotr@s pero con un sitio así, ¡qué suerte ser extranjero y saber disfrutarlo sin complejos!
If we think about beautiful places on the island , the list could be eternal as Mallorca offers so much. However, today we want to offer a site that delights us. A place where both in Winter and summer you can enjoy Mallorca. For this we go to the Sierra de Tramuntana just passed Valldemossa, near Deia, more concretely at the Foradada (for many a symbol for Mallorca). Maybe you have passed it many times but surely you have never stopped to enjoy the sunset at the cafe-bar that is next to the finca “Son Marroig”. Surely we never stop because, “only tourists go there”, not us. We don’t know about you but with a place like this, what luck to be a tourist and enjoy yourself without complexes…
Pongámonos en situación; una tarde con tus amig@s, tu pareja, tu familia, con quien tú quieras compartir este gran momento; coges el coche, te vas hasta Valldemossa, sigues…un curva, otra, así hasta que visualizas el conocido templete de la finca del Archiduque Luis Salvador. ¿Qué haces? Te paras y piensas, “¡vaya vista, qué bien se vive en Mallorca!” Las montañas, el mar… ¡Fantástico! Vas al chiringuito y encima, encuentras un ambiente acogedor con las sombrillas de palmeras, cojines, música chill out o celta, si vas un domingo de verano hay un DJ…Te sientas, miras al frente y ¿qué ves? El mar pero no sólo el mar, si no, la inmensidad del mar. Una vez te repones, llega el amistoso camarero y te pregunta “¿qué desea?”. “¿Qué deseo?” “¿Se puede mejorar?” “¿Cómo?”. El chico, educadamente, nos contesta que todo mejora con un mojito o un daikiri, así que ahí lo tenéis, mar, montaña, los tuyos y un mojito viendo la mejor puesta de sol de Mallorca. Un moments único 😉
Put yourself in this situation, one afternoon with some friends, your partner, your family and whomever you want to share this grand momento, you take the car, you drive to Valldemossa, follow a curve and another until you see the well known temple of the finca of the Archiduke Luis Salvador . What do you do? You stop and think, “What a view, how well we live in Mallorca”. The mountains, the sea…fantastic! You go to the snack bar and find a cozy atmosphere with palm umbrellas, cushions, chill out or Celtic music. If yo go on a Sunday in summer there is a Dj. You sitdown, look in front and what do you see? Not only the sea but the immensity of the sea. Once you are comfortable the friendly waiter appears and asks “What would you like?”. What would I like?” “Could anything be better?” “What?” The waiter most courteously, replies that everything is better with a mojito or a daikiri…So here you have sea, mountains, your loved ones and a mojito while you view the best sunset in Mallorca. A unique Moment experience.
Puesta de sol en Na Foradada+Mojito= ¡Planazo!
Realmente, el Chiringuito de Na Foradada es un lugar mágico. Es tu moments de relax, de desconexión, sólo te tienes que preocupar por disfrutar. Estás en medio de la montaña, cerca del mar, donde si estás atento, lo único que escucharás es el sonido de las olas o los pajaritos de la montaña, bueno, y la música propia del chiringuito que no desentona en absoluto con el entorno. Sin duda, un rinconcito de la isla al que nadie puede negarse a ir.
Really the snack bar at Na Foradada is a magic place. It is your moment to relax, to disconnect, all you have to do is enjoy. You are in the middle of the mountains, close to the sea, where if you pay attention the only things you hear are the sound of the waves or the birds in the mountains , and well the music from the snack bar that does not disturb the setting. Without a doubt a corner of the island that no one should neglect to visit.
¿Te imaginas celebrar tu cumpleaños, tu get together, o incluso, una fiesta porque sí ahí? ¡Fijo que tus invitados lo recuerdan como el mejor evento del año e incluso, del siglo ;)! Por ello y como sabemos el encanto de este rincón queremos descubríroslo, y que al igual que nosotras, sólo queráis que llegue el buen tiempo o al menos, pasen estos meses en los que está cerrado, para empezar a ir y disfrutar todavía más de Mallorca.
La puesta de sol, el ambiente, el entorno…¡todo hace que el Chiringuito de Na Foradada sea un planazo para pasar una tarde u organizar tu get together o…lo que quieras!

For this reason, and since we know the delights of this place, we want you to discover it and just like us, you will only want the good weather to arrive or at least these months that it is closed to pass by to begin to enjoy even more of Mallorca.
