El padre de la novia tiene una casa en la Cala de Deià y les encanta venir a descansar siempre que pueden a este maravilloso lugar del que están enamorados. What romantic moments in this wedding! But let’s begin from the beginning.
Clare & Andy, a young and delightful couple, wanted to celebrate their wedding in Deia. The father of the bride has a house at the Cala of Deia and they loved to come and relax at this marvellous place they adored whenever they could. For this reason the couple chose this fantastic mallorquin setting to celebrate there wedding during 3 days!.
LA PREBODA / THE DAY BEFORE WEDDING
La fiesta de bienvenida a sus invitados fue en el Chiringuito del restaurante del Mirador de Na Foradada ofreciendo cócteles y algunos snacks a sus familiares y amigos llegados desde todos los lugares del mundo. Disfrutando de la más bonita puesta de sol que uno pueda imaginar…

The celebration to welcome their guests was at the refreshment stand of the restaurant Mirador of La Foradada offering cocktails and some snacks to family and friends who arrived from many parts of the world. They enjoyed the most beautiful sunset that anyone could imagine.
LA BODA
Al día siguiente se casaron en la Iglesia de Deià en una preciosa ceremonia oficiada por el cura anglicano David Waller, desplazado también para la ocasión.

THE WEDDING
The next day they were married in the Deia Church in a beautiful ceremony officiated by the anglican priest David Waller, who came especially for the occasion.
La novia (que estaba guapísima con su romántico vestido y semirecojido) llego acompañada por su padre y las damas de honor, éstas en tonos malva enpolvados. Mientras la novia cogida del brazo de su padre se acercaba al altar de fondo sonaba la canción “Songbird” interpretada por un grupo de Gospel y acompañamiento de guitarra.

The bride (who was beautiful in her romantic dress and partial updo) arrived accompanied by her father and the bridesmaids, dressed in pale mauve. While the bride, on the arm of her father, approached the altar, in the background, a Gospel group sang, ‘Songbird’ accompanied by a guitar.
A la salida de la Iglesia todos los invitados se desplazaron andando hasta los jardines del Hotel La Residencia donde disfrutaron de un delicioso y refrescante cocktail antes de marcharse al convite en el Hotel Sa Pedrissa.

From the exit of the church the guests walked to the gardens of the Hotel La Residencia where they enjoyed a fresh and delicious cocktail before they continued on to the meal at Hotel Sa Pedrissa.
Allí disfrutaron de la maravillosa vistas al mar durante un riquísimo aperitivo servido por el catering Marcfosh, seguidamente se desplazaron a la zona donde se iba a servir la cena , recubierta por una carpa beduina para evitar el rocío de la noche ¡deliciosamente decorada! No faltaba ningún detalle, incluso se perfumó el ambiente con verbena, naranja y limón.

There they enjoyed the marvellous views of the sea while rich appetizers were served by MarcFosh catering. Then they moved on to the área where dinner was to be served in a delightfully decorated bedouin style tent! No detail was missing , including perfuming the área with vervain, orange and lemon.
Durante el postre ofrecieron un show de flamenco amenizado por el famoso guitarrista Benjamin Habichuela y su grupo de baile. Después bailaron hasta la madrugada al son de la música del Dj.
Los novios quisieron ofrecer como regalo unas botellitas del aceite de Sóller y licor de naranja. ¡Ricos productos de la tierra!

During the dessert a flamenco show was presented by the famous guitarrist Benjamin Habichuela and his dance group. Then the guests danced until morning to the music of a Dj.
The bride and groom wanted to offer their guests a gift and chose bottles of Soller olive oil and orange liquor. Rich products of the área.
LA POST BODA
Al día siguiente ofrecieron un almuerzo muy relajado en casa del padre de la novia; un delicioso cochinillo y buffet de varias ensaladas. El almuerzo se prolongo hasta la noche. Después algunos de los invitados se desplazaron al hotel Sa Pedrissa donde habíamos preparado una noche de cine bajo las estrellas con un buffet de chucherías. La mejor manera para terminar una maravillosa y dulce boda.

AFTER THE WEDDING
The following day a relaxed luncheon was offered at the house of the bride’s father, delicious roast suckling pig and a buffet of various salads. The lunch continued into the evening. Afterward, some of the guests went on to Hotel Sa Pedrissa where a night of films under the stars had been prepared with a buffet of cold cuts. The best way to end a marvellous and delightful wedding!
