Y después ¿qué hago con mi vestido? / Trash the Dress

The marvelous and  endearing world of brides can be divided into two categories:those who religiously and meticulously guard their wedding dressand those who decide to take full advantage of it until it is worn out! You only have to chose one way or the other.

Purist brides: preciously guard their gown to avoid dampness and moths. If you are one of those that adores her gown it is obvious that you will care for it like. You would a mascot or at least  at the beginning of your marriage.  After an intense trying i ton and off, you will look for a place in the back of your wardrobe where it will be condemned to  a forgotten ítem (although it was  carefully starched and ironed, as though you would be using it  again at any momento. The truth is it will remain there, untouched, for sometime. A few years later it will end up doubled up in a box under the bed or in an extra wardrobe  behind the clothes  you bought to go skiing, and which you also seldom use. Or maybe at your mother’s house where you keep more of your belongings. .

Less caring don’t bother to tke the dress to the cleaners aftr the ceremonybecause they know they will not  use it again. It has become quite modern to “trash” the dress (destroy the dress). American style. Our friends from across the continent have become very fashionable with  this latest photo shoot adding it to the pre-wedding and wedding pictures it becomes the end point and ideal for the bride and groom costumes also giving you some pictures that you would never have achieved in the first two. The idea is to demolish and destroy the dress in a thousand ways. See «I shot him at sea», «war paint», «roll in the mud»: no limit. Anything goes for a good snapshot.
