Boda de Pierre Casiraghi & Beatrice Borromeo Wedding

¿Valentino o Armani?

VALENTINO OR ARMANI?

This is the question we ask when thinking about the second wedding of Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo.

The youngest of the royal family of Monaco, “The grimaldis”, and his until now, fiance for eight years, are finally celebrated their civil wedding last week. And despite the fact that all bets were in favor of Armani, considering the relation of the bride’s family with the designer …she surprised us with a spectacular Valentino

The story of this well known couple began at university. The youngest heir to the Grimaldi family met the daughter of the Count of Borromeo when she was studying journalism. It seems like yesterday that this Young couple were at uiversity and today they celebrate their second wedding , this time it is a religious ceremony

The civil ceremony took place on July 25th in the Grimaldi Palace of Monaco the same place their predecessors Andrea and Tatiana Santo Domingo and Prince Alberto and Charlene Wittstock celebrated their marriages.

After the wedding and the photos on the balcony, family and friends moved on to the traditional Cavagnëtu in the gardens around the pool. A garden party with lots of glamour and wealthy guests.

For this occasion Beatrice , against all odds, chose a dress from the collection of Valentino High Fashion spring/summer 2015.

And we say against all odds for the close relationship that her family has with Giorgio Armani.

The dress was modified for her, the original design was in blue aquamarine and instead was made up in pale rose as we can see in the photo that has been circulating all week in internet and fashion magazines.

As you know we are very curious and we like to delve into the weddings of the famous, and we discovered the bride chose various dresses for her special day. Although great secrecy was guarded, here we share some ‘stolen’ potos.

Beatrice chose two high fashion dresses that were adapted especially for her.

These adaptations were the work of Maria Grazia Chiuri y Pier Paolo Piccioli who are actually the creative directors of the firm.

The first is the dress that she wore during the ceremony and we saw in the photo above:

A fresh dress in pale rose and gold, made of silk with a chiffonoverskirt, fitted at the waist and with a slight flow to the feet. The lovely pattern of roses that covered the upper part combined perfectly with the accessories. A Crown of flowers matched the lilac tones of the dress and the very simple bouquet of wheat stalks. An elegant style with an air of simplicity perfect for the occasion.

The party took place at the hotel Paris, and it was there that the bride wore her second “artwork”   of the designer.

The second design also from the Spring/Summer 2015 Valentino collection , had delicate straps crossed on her back and a very vaporous skirt with silver clouds embroidered on it. It needn’t be said that on this beautiful blonde nothing could look bad, but she was gorgeous in this second dress. The gentle tan on her back contrasted so well with the clear tone of the dress.

This piece was also redesigned for her as the original design was made up of some rather daring transparencies in the bodice, not fitting for a wedding of these characteristics. Here we show you a fashion show design of one of our favourite designers. They both delight us as so fine and delicate.

¿Y… la boda rligiosa?
